Vintage Agfa silette color-agnar 2.8 pronto type 4

Agfa Silette is a camera of the durable Silette series of 35mm film viewfinder cameras, made by Agfa and introduced in 1953. The functions are a simple viewfinder, a leaf shutter, a lever winding mechanism and an accessory shoe (compatible with Agfa KM flash). The camera is well made by having simple features.

During the production time there are 6 types with technical or cosmetic differences. e.g. type 4 has two windows of equal size. The purpose of the second window is increased brightness to minimize centering errors due to the parallax. The lens is Color Apotar 2.8/45mm. Agfa used the Silette name without model numbers in this first series.
