You clearly look at the accents that the artist places back in the design of the plate in his work.
Pim Smit was undoubtedly inspired by Herman Brood, but Pim Smit has been working on his own style and oeuvre for years with great success. It has been compared to Picasso, Corneille, Chagall and Appel.

Painting, music, poetry, drawings… Pim is an animal trainer who tames and adapts a lot of art. His spacious studio is located in Wommersom, near Brussels. There he found space and freedom for his musical and artistic excesses. Pim Smit is an autodidact in all areas, a unique artist of our time. Pim is undoubtedly working on an important chapter in the history of contemporary art.

His collection includes about 30 to 40 unique paintings of various sizes each year. The average price for a unique work of art is about 4000 euros. Smaller works from 500 euros and the larger works between 3,000 and 14,000 euros. The sales value of his work increases on average by 2% to 3% per year.

His art is sold to international galleries and collectors, but you can see an important part of his collection in his own studio.

He made art together with big names such as Thibaut Courtois, Simon Mignolet, Eddy Merckx, Delfine Person, Imke Courtois, Edwin van der Sar, Richard Krajicek, Kim Clijsters, Arnold Vanderlyde, Jean Marie Pfaff, Jan Ceulemans, Freddy de Kerpel, Tia Hellebout , girls choir Scala, DJ Tiësto, Cesar Zuiderwijk, Ben Crabbé, Clown Bassie and many others.
