Rare version of an Austrian wooden statue of the patron saint Saint George. The statue is in very nice condition and stands on a beautiful wooden base.

George of Cappadocia or Saint George is a martyr and saint. He has been patron of England since 1222. As Sant Jordi he is also the patron saint of the Spanish autonomous region of Catalonia and he is the patron saint of scouting. He is also the patron saint of Amersfoort.
