Tomb figure are grave statues that would be placed in graves, in the belief that they would become available to the deceased in the afterlife. They are often referred to as "spirit objects" or "vessels for ghosts." This one is a Tang Dynasty Green Clay Tomb Figure. period 9th century AD.
Height figurines: 1 and 2: 21 cm and the smallest 13.9 cm
