Description
Miguel Berrocal (1933–2006) was a Spanish artist best known for his interactive sculptures. His works, often abstract or figurative, vary in scale and invite the viewer to participate in the artwork by putting it together like a puzzle. Berrocal believed that the perception of form should be done not only with the eyes, but also with the hands. His philosophy was to actively involve the viewer in the physical and mental construction of the artwork, which makes his work unique in the world of modern sculpture.
