KECIR Bohumil Samuel, (Czech Republic 1904 – 1987) was a Holocaust survivor who studied art in Paris.

He did all his work while being admitted to a psychiatric hospital as a patient. Little is known about the life and work of this Jewish artist. His paintings show an interest in Fauvism, Cubism and African masks.

There was a total mystery about the existence of KECIR Bohumil Samuel, he was a Czech painter whose existence was unknown. Many paintings by KECIR Bohumil Samuel are known. Only between 2001 and 2006, about 90 works were offered at various auctions. The prices were then between 3500 and 4500 euros.
