Famous artists support the German Olympic team on their way to Salt Lake City. A total of 16 internationally renowned artists, including Prof. Hans Baschang, Rüdiger Eschert, Prof. Max Uhlig and Giovanni Vetere, initiated the benefit edition “Colours in the Snow” at the initiative of Gallas Verlag (Munich) and Deutsche Sport-Marketing.

Erwin Fieger was born in 1928 in Töplei (today Teplá in the Czech Republic). In 1964 he taught photography as a guest lecturer at the “Hochschule für Gestaltung” Ulm, 1969 he was photographer of the year in the Scandinavian countries. In addition to numerous awards, such as the Culture Prize of the German Photography Association in Cologne for contributions to progress in color photography in 1988, he received the honorary award from the German Culture Prize, Munich Support Foundation.
