A rare ceramic bust of the painter and glass artist Amand Van Rompaey. In this bust you recognize the typical style that you can also find in his painting of the 1970s.

From the 1950s, Amand Van Rompaey also practiced glazier art in addition to painting, which was his preference. But in the 1970s he also made some ceramic statues where this is one. His ceramic work has almost never been exhibited and is virtually impossible to find. That is what makes this work highly sought after.
